Tonight her heart pump vad is filling okay, not perfectly, but better than earlier. Right now the kids are watching Lion King 1 1/2 and having a good time. We ate corn on the cob from our Oregon garden, it was great! I brought it back with me on the plane.
Sierra said she 'feels good' about her first math test. She sure worked hard preparing for it. Megan didn't make the jazz band. Now she says she didn't want it anyway, because now she can focus more on volleyball.
Spent the day working on tax returns and other office stuff. But when Stacy told me about the vad not filling, it was sure hard to work around that pit in my stomach.
Remember, we are the cheerleaders and Lindsey support. Sitting around worrying about her pump, irregular heart beats, monitor warnings, right side heart failure, blood clots, infection, internal bleeding, fevers, blood levels, tummy aches, skin rash, amount of ambulating, sleeping habits, fluid retention, and the color and consistency of her poop isn't going to do any good. Let the doctors and nurses do their thing and we do ours!
Little Chloe, the 9 month old on the Berlin, just went down to the CVICU for vomitting blood and 3 new clots in her vad. They (Mom) are pretty stressed! Stephanie and her baby Tristen has been released to the RMH. The baby with the double Berlin is still in the ICU but unsure on the status.

Jason you are exactly right you are the cheerleaders offering support, but you are also the loving and concerned parents, therefore, it's pretty hard to not worry or stress over each beat and the overall health of Lindsey Lou. This journey is big and stressing over all of the "what if's" is too overwhelming. Let your concerns, frustrations, and worries all be lifted up to the Lord in prayer. The Doctors and Nurses are pretty amazing down there and Lindsey and her health is very important to them. The Heavenly Father is guiding each of them to provide Lindsey with best care and medicine she can receive. We continue to pray for the medicine to knock those irregular beats "OUT" and that she will be blessed with that special gift. Hang in there Jason and Stacy you guys are amazing parents and cheerleaders doing everything right and giving all the support you can offer!! Loves, hugs, and prayers to each of you--xoxoxoxo

The hardest job we have is being a parent, and you both are doing an amazing job. Hang in there. Hugs to all of you!
If those taxes have anything to do with 'us', ah, what's another day or two??? Ha ha. After all, there are more important tasks at hand. A smile, a hug, a cozy nap side by side with your little angel. Things that make both your hearts beat a bit calmer.

It was so good to see all of you. Shane and I are eternally amazed at what strength and patience you all display through all of this. We continue our prayers and pray for better days and a heart to come long before it is statistically "due."

Two very intelligent caring parents are naturally going to hang on every Dr comment, test result, alarm sound, and child's cry. You are amazing parents and are doing the best job ever of cheer-leading, supporting Lindsey, taking care of each other and still making time to support the other 4 kids. We've been so busy I haven't checked on you for several days but, even when I can't get to the computer to read about you I keep praying. Sounds like you have had lots of ups and downs. I know that a heart isbeing prepared, I just wish it could be on our time frame. Sierra and Megan,you have adjusted so well and are making the most of this new adventure, I'm really proud to know you. Jason, sure hope you get better sleeping accomodations tonight.
