85- Sierra's Results

This evening after 5, we finally received the results of Sierra's biopsy.  Drum roll Please........... Sierra got a ZERO on her biopsy and her Antibody Mediated Rejection (AMR) went from 2 to 1.  Neither of those have been that low since last summer.  We are very excited and thrilled.  We really are finally going home!   When I told the results to Sierra, she jumped up and down and squealed with delight. You could see the relief written all over her face.  We will not have to wait here for her.  I think she keeps a lot of that bottled up inside, because she doesn't want anyone to worry about her.  So, it was nice to see her breathe easy.   Lindsey said, "Jeez you would have thought she got an offer for a heart."  It felt that way.  What a weight lifted off of Jason and I's shoulders.

A huge congratulations to Sierra and your entire family! You deserve this return home more than anyone! Enjoy the trip back. The Jelly Belly Factory is on the way back in Fairfield! We made the trip there on the way back to Oregon from my tx. Congratulations again!

It really is a lot for everyone to carry on their shoulders, particularly the kids. I'm so glad that weight has been lifted and even happier to hear y'all will be coming home soon. I know everyone has missed it so much. How great will it be to just go back to "normal" daily life?? And I think everyone back home has missed everyone too, so everybody wins with this great news! :-)

Looking forward to the official "goodbye California, Hello Home Sweet Home" blog!
