Oct 27, The Halloween Party

11:10 pm.
Well we (Stacy) pulled it off. Stacy's brother, Ryan Merrill and his family drove in this morning and spent the day with us as we prepared for the party. Stacy, Lindsey, Megan, Michelle Merrill and her daughter, Trista stayed in the Sobrato Room cooking donuts while Ryan and I took the rest of the kids to run errands and get pizza.

They made a whole bunch of donuts and had fun with their cousins. Not sure how many people we had there, but we had enough donuts and pizza to go around.  Other than that, the pictures speak for themselves.

Cookin up some trouble

The Princess being fussed over by her hand maid.
Kids everywhere
Lindsey and Shannon, her nurse for the day. Shannon worked really hard to make it fun for Lindsey.
Right before the party started, the power went off and Lindsey could NOT be plugged into the room.  She called Engineering and found an outlet in a joining closet to accommodate the Princess.
Uncle Ryan and Aunt Michell

The traditional donut eating contests.

Stacy setting up the next game.

You guys ROCK!!!!!
Perfect Princess costume and how clever to have her own handmaid!
Love how the chin hair is just right for a pirate. Sierra's Cleopatra costume is adorable...
Donuts? Home made at the hospital? You guys are so resourceful!
And thank goodness on the closet power!!!!!!!!!

Best Halloween Party ever...

I love seeing pics from your annual Halloween parties - and love that the tradition continues, regardless of place or circumstance. Jason, the piggy tails in your GO-TEE are, what can I say ... kind of disturbing, kind of fantastic!

I want to let Lindsey know that her stories of being brave have inspired courage! Abby has to have her blood drawn today and she is going to be brave like Lindsey. When Emma had her blood drawn a few weeks ago she told the lab tec that she was going to be brave like her friend Lindsey and took it like a champ! They all think of you everyday.

I am so sad we missed it! Jayce has not been feeling very well all weekend, so we were couped up in our room! It looks like everyone had a great time--cute costumes! Hopefully Shannon is there again before we leave--she is so great, I would love to see her!

Thanks for posting a good picture of Sierra because Sadie was also Cleopatra. I cheated and looked what you had done with Sierra's makeup. You both are so good. Great job on giving your children some normalcy in their lives. I am so impressed with you guys. We continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
