Does Easter come in the spring or winter?

The Friday and Saturday before Easter, we went to our annual Easter egg hunts. Jake and Wendy planned theirs for Friday, which is the one on horseback. We ended up getting the most snow that we have seen almost all winter. It was really windy and it snowed heavy enough to stick to the ground. Unfortunately we were unable to do the traditional hunt on horse back. Luckily we had our shop that everyone could go into and have our hunt there. Jake and Wendy did a great job with games to entertain the kids and organizing the hunt. It was really fun to get together with people from the neighborhood.

Saturday we went to our Easter egg hunt in North Powder. The kids had a blast and found lots of colorful eggs in the white snow.

Dying our Easter eggs in preparation for Jake and Wendy's Easter egg hunt.

Not looking to promising outside for horseback riding. Notice the horizontal snow and the angle of the swings.

Gage loving being in the center of it all!

Hunter showing off his lovely dye creation.

Playing games in the shop. There was a great turn out for the hunt, even though the weather wasn't the best.

Hunter with his found eggs.

Lindsey and Roper have met their quota.

Megan's age group on "the hunt."

Sierra's hunt.

Hunter and Gage at the North Powder Easter egg hunt. At least the sun was shining.

Hunter showing off his booty.

Gage only sure about one thing - it's cold!!

Everyone showing off their prizes.
