Sierra Biopsy Update

Sierra got a 00000!!! Her last biopsy showed a zero rejection. We haven't had a zero in over a year. This is very good, however, this was her annual biopsy and they measure more things than regular biopsies. This biopsy showed that her coronary arteries were significantly more narrow than they have ever been. This is usually an early sign of rejection, but they don't know if it is from her recent episode of rejection healing or if something else is starting. Thus, they switched her meds all around and started her on a new med called rapimune. This will put us going back to Cali in 1 month for another biopsy to see how she is doing on the new medicine. All in all she is acting and doing great.

Sierra, Gage and I got to go to Cali this time and Jason stayed here with the kids. He picked us up from the airport on Thurs with a completely packed minivan and just enough room for the three of us and our suitcase. He had to pack us for my family reunion that was from Friday to Sunday. He did an amazing job! The reunion was a blast and it was fun to spend time with my siblings and the kids' cousins. We usually fight the dust with all the kids up camping, but with all the rain this years theme was worms. My nephew Stetson was brave enough to attempt to eat one after being persuaded with money. Needless to say it didn't quite make it all the way down before everything came up. Great memories!!

The kids digging for worms.

The whole gang at the mouth of Minatonka cave. We never actually got to go on the tour they were sold out. Maybe next year.

Yay! Congrats on being at a zero! That is so awesome! Hopefully the next bx shows that she is 100%! Tell her to stay healthy so we can get her back down to Lake Powell finally!

Great news about Sierra getting a zero. We wish we could still assist you. You need to fly out of Seattle so we can keep your car for you. I am sure it would be much more cost effective for you:) There is alot more to see and do here though. We are glad things seem to be calming down for you guys.
