Our Little Gage!

Wednesday afternoon, 1/28/09, our little Gage got a low grade fever and was having a hard time breathing. We took him to out ER in Baker, and they admitted him to the hospital with pneumonia. He struggled through the night, but held his own on oxygen. As the day progressed, he was getting pooped. Our hospital decided to life flight him to Boise. We never imagined in a million years we would find ourselves again in the St Luke's PICU. At least not with someone other than Sierra!

When we got to Boise they put him on high flow oxygen which he tolerated well for a little while. As the night progressed, he started fighting for his breath again and began petering out again. So, this morning at 8:00 AM we found ourselves with another child being placed on a ventilator. He is stable now. He has gotten a blood transfusion and they have hung some other meds to help with his perfusion better. He is tough and we hope he continues fighting. Please pray for our little Gage. We will update as we can.

We are so sad and so heartsick, know that every minute we are thinking of you guys. Although we can't be there in person, we are right beside you in spirit. Gage will be just fine....he is a Bingham after all.
all of our love,
