This is LINDSEY talking. (Daddy typing) I get to go to the Stanford side tomorrow. I am SOOOOO excited. What are you doing tonight? Still waiting for my heart. I miss my family, everybody, and my friends. In PT I played the wii, and then we rode the bike. The games were Wii Games and Just Dance2. At school we did science. We took raw spaghetti and put marshmallows on them. There was as little kid in my class who was blind, and I feel bad for him. When we were making art, he didn't know what to do, but 2 ladies helped him. The dressing change hurt, it don't feel good, and I don't like it. I wish they did in only once a week, not 2 times a week. It itches a lot.
My night nurse said she sees Santa Clause going through the Hospital, but he goes fast.
Love Lindsey
Dressing change today, No we are not crazy about it.

Lindsey - I am so excited about tomorrow and cannot wait to hear all about it. I am flying up to SF for work tomorrow, so when we fly over the hospital, I'll waive from the plane. It will be around 7:20 a.m. if you are awake. Ava wants to come with me, but I am going for work and she has the stomach flu anyway. After you get your heart, maybe you can talk your dad into letting you come down to our house for a visit. We are only 40 minutes from really boring stuff like Disneyland and the beach! Oh yeah, I asked for my own set of Spot It! cards for Christmas so I can practice up. Sleep tight!
Hi Lindsey,
This is Mrs. Scott. I'm so excited for you to go see the program on the Stanford side tomorrow. Please write us a little report on how it was.
Did you hear that I had my baby? It is a girl and her name is McKinley. I can't wait for you to come home so you can see her. She is very cute! We miss you a lot at school and look forward to having you back. I'm sending you lots of big hugs and will keep praying for you.
Lindsey's wound site looks like it has granulation tissue. We had lots of trouble with that when Gus and Olivia were babies and had feeding tubes...except instead of going through their nose, theirs went directly into their tummies! Now that it has healed up, it looks like they have 2 bellybuttons. :-) They both have an innie and an outie! Sometimes in the summer, other kids will ask why they have 2 bellybuttons and to tease them, sometimes we will ask how many they have. When they say they only have one, we say, "Wow!! That's kind of weird!!" ;-)
Gus has to have his tonsils removed the day after Christmas, but he only has to be in the hospital for 1 day. That doesn't even come close to your stay, but I bet he will be ready to come home!! He did spent almost 100 days in the hospital when he was born though...but I don't think he remembers that trip! We read your blog every day Miss Lindsey and we hope you get your new heart really soon!! From Gus and Olivia's mom
I'm excited for your walk today. Be sure to tell us all about it! We pray for you every single day and I was at the temple last might and I put your name on the prayer roll. My husband, Dave works in the temple and keeps your name there ;) Dave knows your dad from when they were boys. Dave would spend the summer with his cousins, the Kerns family.
I am going to buy the game Wacky 6 for my family for Christmas. It sounds fun!! We love you! The Knowles family.

Okay - I need to know more about the spaghetti and marshmallow thing! Were you building something? or did it do something? Sounds like fun!
I wore my Hearts for Binghams T-shirt to school yesterday since it was our 'Friday" - thinking ahead to your big adventure! I am so excited for you - I know you've been wanting to get out of there!!!
Yesterday, in kindergarten, we made snow flakes out of coffee filters. For a lot of kids, it was the first time to do it. We made a HUGE mess all over the floor, but they had so much fun! I put all our snowflakes on the windows and we're hoping we can make it snow!
Love hearing from you!!! Mrs. Tannehill
Hi Lindsey Lou. I love it when you write on your blog! We received your letter. I can't remember if I told you that. The students loved the paper you made. Guess what we're doing next week? Yes! Making paper!!! I have never done that before, but thank goodness we have somebody who has done this before, so it should be fun! Maybe messy? I also meant to send you some pictures of our new classroom. It now has windows and sheetrock up. Maybe we can time it that when you come back is when we move into our new room. Wouldn't that be sweet? I hope you have a fantastic day! It sounds so exciting! I will be doing homework for a class I'm taking, but I'm also meeting with Mrs. Nedrow and Ali Abrego to organize some things for the Giving Tree and Riki's Room. We love and miss you! Let me know when you want to skype with your classmates again. Tell your family hello! xoxo Mrs. Smith
