Easter Egg Hunt

This year it was very cold at our Easter egg hunt on horse back. We ended up having the lunch in the shop with a propane heater blasting heat to keep us warm. Still as always, it was a lot of fun. Lindsey had a little fever and ended up staying in the house for this hunt. we are wanting to get her feeling better!

The kids dying their Easter eggs.

Sierra and Gage waiting in line.

Emily and Lyndi. Lyndi thinking this is not very fun in the cold.

Megan's turn.

It's Pinewood Car Derby Time!

We had our annual, no rules, pinewood derby. It was fun! Our creation did much better than last years model. We were pretty proud of it. It held up through all the races. We're #1, we're #1!! Here are some pictures of the competition:

Bishop was in charge of starting the races. Lindsey wanted an up close look.

And the winner is.....US!!

A look at the crew involved in making and watching the cars.

Megan's turn to get our car lined up on the race track.

This was just a funny random picture we took of Gage one Sunday. He was eating some cantaloupe and was so tired he fell asleep on Jason's shoulder while chewing it.

Lights, Camera, Action!!

It is Missoula Children's Theater time again. Once a year in March, the Missoula Children's Theater comes to the school from Missoula, MT. In one week they have try outs, create a cast and perform a play. It is pretty amazing to see it all in action.

This year all three girls received a part in the play. The name of the play was the Princess and the Pea. Lindsey was casted as a dust bunny. Megan and Sierra were ice villagers. They did a fabulous job and it was a lot of fun to watch. Way to go girls!!

The entire cast.

Spring Break 2011

This year was a fast and furious spring break for us. Usually we stay for a week to a week-and-a -half. This year we were only able to stay for a few days. We still had a good time in Utah, visiting cousins and grandparents. We also were able to attend a Dairy Princess pageant for Hailee. She did great and was named a Dairy Princess. We were very excited for her. We were also able to go and visit with Grandma and Grandpa Hobbs. We love being able to visit with them.

Gage Gets His Cast Off

We are getting ready to go to Utah for the kids' spring break. Gage got his cast off the day before we left for Utah. He was very interested in what they were doing. We were excited that he was going to weigh 20 lbs less. He did great and held really still. He isn't walking so well. I think it is going to take him a while to get his muscles built back up in that leg.

Family Fun with Bowling

We decided it would be fun to have a fun night out and go bowling. We had Justin and Emily's family and Jake and Wendy's family. Along with some of Megan's friends. It was a lot of fun!

Too cute!!
