Spring Croquet

Grandma and Grandpa Coleman gave us a croquet set and badmitten (sp?), so we tried it out.
Here are a few fun pictures from that beautiful May Sunday.

Baseball for Megan & Lindsey

In 2011, Megan played minors baseball on the Haines / North Powder team. Her uncle Jake coached. She played mostly 2nd base and even got the pitch a little bit. (She even struck out a 'boy', she was very pumped).
Lindsey played farm on the the North Powder team. She was the only girl on the team and did great!

Cove Playday

In May, 2011 the kids went to the annual 'Cove Playday'.
Below are a few pictures from the activity. Sierra and Megan did great.

The School Spring Concert

This school year, Sierra in the 5th grade, played the clarinet. We had to stop the violin and start the clarinet as the school did not have an orchestra only a band. She has enjoyed the clarinet very much and practices hard. She is starting to sound really good.

Megan being in the 4th grade, was able to play the recorder. She did very well and practiced hard as well. We will be glad when she gets to play a different instrument next year. We got to listen to them in a concert. They did very well!

The Baker Triathalon

May 7th was Baker's 3rd annual YMCA mini triathlon. My best work out buddy, Rhonda Fritz and I, participated in it last year and enjoyed it very much. This year, Jason decided to join us. It was a lot of fun. Jason is a great sport and had a good time as well.

He and I were in the same heat. Which worried me, because I really had been working hard to get in shape and I really wanted to beat him! I was really going to feel bad if he beat me, because he had not been training as hard as I had been. He ended up being the last one out of the pool. His last half lap the water was smooth as glass. I came in first out of the three of us and Rhonda came in right behind me with Jason right behind her.

We look forward to doing it again next year!!
